Project Hartlen Point is a local grassroots mouvement to protect the biodiverse ecosystem of Hartlen Point in Eastern Passage, from a weapon systems testing facility that is set to being development on 2023. HP is the #1 birding place in Nova Scotia and #15 in Canada. It is a crucial stop over and point of reference for hundreds of thousands of local and migratory birds each year. The build will disrupt the biodiverse ecosystem, accelerate the coastal erosion, prohibit public access and, add traffic to a narrow, 2 lanes road. The facility will emit harmful radio frequencies. This is all in a a rapidly growing residential communities.
